The
eInfotree Web version deployment
options are based on the location and
configuration of eInfotree servers,
since no eInfotree components are
installed on the client machine.
The selection of a particular
configuration would be governed
primarily by the number of users
expected to work simultaneously. Two
common deployment options are
described below. |

Combined
Web and Application Server Option |
|
In this
option, the Application Server and the
Web Server are installed on the same
server. This configuration is
typically used when the number of
system users is below 100.

2. |
Distributed
Web and Application Server Option |
|
In this
option, the Application Server and the
Web Server are installed on separate
machines. This configuration is
recommended in the following typical
scenarios:

The
number of users exceed 100. |
|

The
Web Server and Application
Servers are based on different
operating systems. |
|
3.
|
A
Central Application Server
provides services for several
Web Servers. |
